Releasing Butterflies
Nothing is more effective or romantic than releasing butterflies during your ceremony

The Monarch butterfly is the most spectacular butterfly for releasing
they are large and colourful and their flight pattern is graceful.
They are also ‘people friendly’ (ie. they are not be afraid of humans), strong and travel well.
Plus they are native to all areas of Australia, so will naturally live out their life cycle in any habitat in which they are released.
For the welfare of the butterflies, butterflies are always to be released outside during daylight hours
(at least one hour before sunset), so they can find food and shelter for the night. They should not be released in heavy rain or strong winds.

Perhaps you might like to display your butterflies for all guests to view and enjoy prior to release. In which event one or more of our elegant Butterfly Display & Release Cages would be perfect.
Butterfly Display & Release Cages include an arrangement of fresh flowers which adds to the lovely display and provides nectar (food) for the butterflies. If your event has a colour theme, the colour of the flowers can be selected to complement your theme.
The butterflies are released directly from the Display & Release Cage when the special moment arrives.
You may even consider having a number of Butterfly Display & Release Cages on display in various locations to carry the theme throughout your event - perfect for a garden wedding
